About

At David Duncan Photography, I create tailored image libraries that showcase a corporation's identity, culture, and values, helping you connect authentically with your audience. These images are tailored to meet the needs of a diverse range of clients—from large corporations and nonprofits to small businesses and private individuals. With 27 years of experience, including 12 as a photojournalist, I bring a storytelling approach to every project, crafting visuals that resonate across platforms and align with your brand’s goals.

I specialize in:

*Corporate and Industrial Photography: Annual reports, investor relations, and image libraries for the oil & gas, energy, and industrial sectors. With extensive experience working offshore and in challenging environments, I capture the essence of these industries with authenticity and precision. My expertise includes photographing offshore platforms and industrial facilities, often from helicopters such as the Bell 407.

*Nonprofit and Educational Photography: Highlighting the missions, donor initiatives, and educational programs of nonprofits and institutions to connect with audiences and inspire action.

*Small Business and Personal Branding: Creating customized imagery that elevates local businesses and personal projects with a polished and professional edge.

My career included working with the U.S. Marine Corps at Quantico, VA, alongside combat camera teams, covering live-fire training exercises, and serving as the official photographer for the Best Rangers Competition where I have flown in military aircraft like the UH-60 Black Hawk and UH-1N Huey. And as a current judge for the Department of Defense Media Awards, I’ve evaluated some of the finest military and civilian photographers in the country.

Beyond my fieldwork, I’ve led creative teams as Managing Photographer for Liberty University, capturing highlights like the Men’s Basketball team’s historic NCAA First Four March Madness run. I also taught multimedia storytelling and digital filmmaking as an Adjunct Instructor at Randolph College, sharing my passion for visual storytelling with the next generation.

Certified in offshore safety protocols such as HUET w/CA-EBS, IADC RigPass, H2S safety, and as a TWIC cardholder, I am equipped for the most demanding industrial assignments. Whether I’m directing corporate teams at Talos Energy, documenting industrial operations, or crafting compelling narratives for Space Center Houston, I thrive on telling stories that matter.

Let’s work together to bring imagery that connects, inspires, and elevates your brand.
