backyard retreats

Here in VA and in Lynchburg you do not have to go too far to experience a good time outdoors. Since living here for the past 8 years I thought I knew all the cool places to go. Well I was wrong, I found a cool spot to cool off during the hot summers days. Panther Falls off Rt. 60 heading to Buena Vista, VA. It is about a 45 min drive from Lynchburg, there is a small road sign that marks the turn off. Once you get down to the parking spot it is a 5 min walk through the woods where you will find two large size rocks you can jump off into a swimming hole.
